Ukoma Ezeokoye meets with Nigerian Ambassador to Morocco (See Photos)


The Nigerian Ambassador to Morocco, Mr. Baba Garba, says African Women can be better artisans if governments partner co-operative societies in empowering them.
The Ambassador who stated this while responding to questions from newsmen in his office at Rabat Morocco, said women have a strong will of sportsmanship and only need support to develop Africa.
It would be recalled that women from 27 African countries are currently in Morocco for the 11th Expo Dar Maalma Exhibit and 2nd African Women Artisans Congress, which holds till December 1.

Meanwhile, Mr. Garba said Nigeria is partnering Morocco in the fight against extremism and terrorism by creating Islamic institutions where deradicalization is studied.
The Ambassador said 98% of Nigerians living in Morocco are legal residents, and thanked the King of Morocco, Mohammed the sixth, for legalizing the stay of Nigerians and their rights to study and work in the country.
He advised Nigerians in the diaspora to invest in Nigeria, in order to help develop the economy of the country and create employment opportunities.
